You wouldn’t believe the number of projects going on around the village which could use your help just now. There has been a massive clear up operation going on over recent weeks, you may have noticed things looking much tidier, flotsam and jetsam has been collected and removed from the water of Cruden, the recycling area has had a major make over, the beach and harbour areas have all been cleared, all by a small group of volunteers, Friends of Cruden Bay you might say!

These volunteers have been the inspiration behind a drive to increase the number of individuals prepared to give a little bit of time to the village. We would be delighted to have you join us as a Friend of Cruden Bay, you can then decide when, where, and what you want to help. If we could merely increase our numbers a wee bit and share the existing burden, that would be success enough, but why settle for such a modest objective? You can make all the difference,  if you were to join us we might manage to do even more than we are at the moment and perhaps we might yet see a village full of people doing as much as they can to make this a great place to live rather than being prepared to settle for doing as little as they can get away with.
