The Ladies Bridge is very much at the centre of discussion at the moment. In reality the bridge needs replacing but this will cost a lot of money and it will take some time to facilitate the funding required.

 

The Community Association have been working hard on the fund raising programme and simultaneously coordinating maintenance work which is vital if the bridge is to remain safe to use in the meanwhile.

 

As you might imagine there is a lot could be done to improve the structure and safety of the bridge whilst the funding process continues,  much of this work is labour intensive unless we can find a way of doing things ourselves.

There is already a dedicated team working on this project but they too could do with your help.

 

Public meetings have been arranged to inform villagers of how things are progressing, if you are interested in this project we need to hear from you as soon as possible, let us know if this ones for you.
